methods - - - - - - - - - - “Rather than spending seven years and over $100,000 earning my degree and becoming a CPA, I am using accelerated distance learning to reach this goal in less than three years and for less than $5,000” - Erik, Des Moines, IA “Accelerated distance learning allowed me to earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree by the age of sixteen.” – Alexandra, El Paso, TX “Using accelerated distance learning, I plan on earning my Bachelor’s Degree before my eighteenth birthday.” – David, Chicago, IL “Although I’m only doing part-time study, accelerated distance learning has enabled me to complete an average of three credits per week toward my degree. The skills I have learned are essential for success in my distance-learning program, but more importantly they will continue to benefit me throughout life.” – Kyle, Lakeland, FL “Instead of spending four years trapped on a college campus, I was able to graduate Cum Laude with my Bachelors of Science in Business and History, one year, seven months from my date of enrollment!” - David, Gary, IN __________ PARENTS Here’s what parents are saying about Accelerated Distance Learning: - - - - - - - - - - Paul Bonstrom "Wouldn’t you expect homeschooling families to find another way to “do” college? It’s here with Accelerated Distance Learning! This is THE alternative to sending our sons and daughters to a traditional college and sparing them from the exposure to secular philosophies and social pressures. Our son has earned 66 credits in 3 months and will complete his degree in another 5 months. The cost for his Bachelor of Science degree will be approximately $5,000. Our other son has already begun earning college credit through various credit-by-examination methods even while still in high school. This jumpstart on college will allow him to complete in less than half the time normally required. What a savings in time and money! We have seen our sons develop motivation and diligence to achieve and earn their education. Just as homeschooling was the new educational alternative of the 1980’s, Accelerated Distance Learning is the new paradigm of the 21st Century." - - - - - - - - - - Lesa Yates In the early 70’s when I finished high school, I was encouraged by parents and teachers to further my education. The only method available then was the traditional one. I spent four years on campus at a Christian college earning a BA in Elementary Education; and then spent evenings and summers completing a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling. What an exciting and beneficial option Accelerated Distance Learning would have been! As home educating parents, we had not considered the option of college for our children for the same reasons we had not considered public school. We wanted to avoid the subtle detrimental influences which we had observed first hand and in the lives of acquaintances. There were also the issues of time and cost involved with college. Our two oldest boys were college age and seeking direction for their lives. When we became aware of Accelerated Distance Learning, our family felt this was the right direction. In approximately three months, they have earned a year of accredited college credit. They are advancing toward their life vocation without being subjected to the temptations of campus life and the philosophies of unknown professors. Because Accelerated Distance Learning is self-directed, we are able to work together with our sons on the overall direction of their training. At the same time, we are not required to be involved in the daily directing of their studies. With two younger children still being home educated, and being caregivers for two extended family members with impairments, this has been a great benefit. Accelerated Distance Learning is providing advanced learning opportunities for my older children without adding undue burden to an already busy homeschool mother. Accelerated Distance Learning is a perfect fit for home educating families. Advanced students can accomplish their educational goals at their own pace, at lower cost, with greater flexibility of program and schedule, with minimum burden to the family, while avoiding the pitfalls of the typical college scene. __________ Home School Leaders Here’s what Homeschool Leaders say about - - - - - - - - - - Cathy Duffy - Home School Leader Brad Voeller takes two hot ideas—getting through college quickly and paying
a fraction of the typical cost of college—then puts them together in
Accelerated Distance Learning. Homeschoolers have figured out that
distance learning makes sense through books such as Bears’ Guide to
Nontraditional Degrees. They’ve also figured out that students can
start on college at younger ages, sometimes graduating from college about the
same time age-mates are graduating from high school. To these strategies,
Voeller has added the element of “acceleration.” - - - - - - - - - - Andrew Pudewa - President,
Institute for Excellence in Writing This is a remarkable resource for students and parents who are looking for creative and effective alternatives to the traditional four year college grind. Brad Voeller, the author, earned his four-year, fully accredited college degree in less than six months, for less than $5,000 by applying the exact same ideas that he presents in this resource, including how to use: - Credit-by-examination Brad also gives some powerful tips on accelerated Learning through The 240+ pages of this trade paperback also contain several appendices Many parents and teachers today are aware of the changing nature of Rich with diagrams, specific to-do lists, web sites, practical tips and - - - - - - - - - - David and Laurie Callihan - Home School Leaders We met Brad Voeller, the author of the new book Accelerated Distance Learning at the New Jersey state home-schooling convention this year. We are really excited about this book, because it gives practical strategies for completing college work in an unconventional way, saving time, money, and the agony of enduring unbiblical world views and the negative social experiences of most colleges. We would suggest that parents of children in junior and above get a copy of this book now. It will broaden the possibilities of your secondary home school years and beyond. - - - - - - - - - - Doug Phillips - Home School Leader Brad Voeller earned his fully accredited four-year college degree in six months, without leaving home and for a fraction of the cost. His book Accelerated Distance Learning is one of the most helpful and practical books I have read all year. It ably addresses the question of real-life, cost-effective alternatives to brick and mortar college. In a world of escalating tuition costs, dangerous campus moral trends, and renegade university philosophies, parents need to carefully weigh their options for their children's higher education. Speaking from experience as a manager of a staff of men—many of whom got their education outside of a brick and mortar college and who are vastly superior both in skill and character to the typical college graduate—I would strongly urge parents to get this book and pray about your options.
